7-year-old battling cancer finally gets his wish to meet The Rock
After months of waiting, Gabriel 'Tater' Singleton was finally able to meet his hero, The Rock.
In February, Mashable shared Singleton's story of the boy posing with a handwritten sign, pleading people to share it, so that he may have the opportunity to meet Dwayne Johnson. Finally, last week, Singleton's wish came true.

Singleton, who has been battling neuroblastoma for four years, has endured several surgeries, blood transfusions, countless shots and chemo therapy treatments in order to fight his disease. The boy says that The Rock's positive attitude helps him through it all.
"Been a long time coming, but I finally met the one and only 'Tater,'" The Rock posted on Instagram. Singleton was able to visit The Rock on the set of Baywatch in Savannah, Georgia.
"[He] watched me film and in between scenes we'd hang out, have some laughs and have some good talks," The Rock said on Instagram.
Singleton even had custom t-shirts printed up for the occasion, which read "Live Like Tater," and "Strong as The Rock."
In the post, The Rock explains that every time Singleton would go to the hospital, he would take his Rock figurine and stuffed animal with him.
"He told me every time he gets treatments he wants to be strong like me," the actor wrote. "I told him he's already way stronger I'll ever be. He just giggled not really knowing what I meant. One day he will."
Fighting tears, The Rock also posted a video where he gives Singleton his very own custom Baywatch movie poster.
"Despite my almost tearing up like a baby and ruining my tough guy image, the greatest and I think most beautiful irony about Tater, is that this very special little boy has no idea just how much he inspires all of us around him," The Rock wrote.
"This made Tater's day," Lulu Singleton' Tater's mother wrote on Facebook. "Thank you Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson for making my son's dream come true and for giving him so much love and attention."
And Singleton isn't the only sick child who The Rock has visited recently. Scrolling through his Instagram feed, The Rock has been dropping by a number of hospitals and children's wards to show his support.
