Even though Taylor Swift was only born in 1989, she apparently has enough memorabilia to fill a museum.

The Taylor Swift Experience is making its way from LA to Taylor's favorite city, New York. And we've been waiting for it.

The exhibit is a love letter to Ms. Swift, and features:

  • Memorabilia from Swift’s childhood

  • Costumes she wore on tour

  • A never-before-seen pre-Met Gala Louis Vuitton dress

  • Handwritten lyrics to Taylor’s songs

  • Taylor’s 2009 GRAMMY Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “White Horse”

  • The dress Taylor wore in her music video for “Mean”

  • The banjo used during her performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards

  • The custom-built piano used during The 1989 World Tour

  • And more!

The exhibit, presented by the Grammy Museum, is set to open Friday, Nov. 18, in Manhattan's Seaport District.

It originally debuted at the Grammy Museum in LA in December 2014. It was supposed to have a limited run, but was extended due to demand.

According to the exhibit's press release:

The Taylor Swift Experience gives visitors and fans an in-depth look at the multi-platinum-selling artist as a singer, musician, songwriter and producer through personal photographs and home videos, interactive experiences, handwritten lyrics of Taylor’s top-charting hits, and iconic performance outfits.

"Debuting The Taylor Swift Experience at our Museum in LA was an incredible honor and a huge success for us,” said Bob Santelli, executive director of the Grammy Museum at LA LIVE.

“We couldn’t be more excited to get this exhibit on the road for fans all over the world to experience the remarkable singer, songwriter and musician that is Taylor Swift, and we’re so thrilled for New York and the Seaport District to be the first stop on this tour.”

“With entertainment being a central component of the revitalized Seaport, we are pleased to partner with the Grammy Museum in bringing The Taylor Swift Experience to the Seaport District,” said David R. Weinreb, chief executive officer of The Howard Hughes Corporation.

Here are some more photos and videos of the exhibit in LA.

Tickets to view The Taylor Swift Experience are $9 and are available on Ticketmaster. The exhibit will be on display from Friday, Nov. 18 through Feb. 19, 2017, and then it will transfer to Cleveland, Mississippi.
