Video of teacher and students exchanging blows in the classroom goes viral on Weibo
A video of a fistfight between a group of high school students and their teacher in class has gone viral and left Chinese netizens in shock.
According to People's Daily, the fight took place at Fanji High School, in Mengcheng county in Anhui, China. Although it isn't clear when the incident exactly occurred, the video of the brawl was uploaded onto Weibo on Tuesday and has started to make its rounds.
In the video, you can see the fight started when the English teacher, surnamed Ma, got into an argument with a student who refused to submit his test script. Ma reached out, shoving the student and grabbing him by the neck.

The student retaliated, and soon others joined in to rain blows on Ma, who is said to be in his 40s. One student even smashed a bench into the teacher.
A total of five students were involved in the fight with Ma, who continuously fought back and slapped several of them each time they backed off.
Since the video went viral, the headmaster of the school Zhang Mujiao was suspended, reported City Star Newspaper.
While the school has not made any announcements on how the situation was being dealt with, Zhang has acknowledged that the fight did take place.
The local authorities and education department are investigating the fight.
