Teen babysitter transforms a normal night in into a mermaid party extravaganza

I wanna be where the cool babysitters are...

Fifteen-year-old Keegan Carnahan is a regular babysitter for her father's assistant's daughter, three-year-old Alidy Clark. Ever since Carnahan dyed her hair bright pink, Clark had been consistently saying that she was a mermaid.

So, during a regular Wednesday night of babysitting, Clark just happened to be wearing her Little Mermaid costume around the house and Carnahan decided to bring out the mermaid tale she brought to swim in the pool to as a surprise entertain the little girl during bath time.

The result was as adorable as you can imagine.

"I sent the text messages to my friend because I thought they were funny and then put it on Twitter for fun but I never would have imagined it would get this big," Carnahan said.

She explained that everyone has been so kind about the picture and that she's been getting stopped in school frequently by people telling her how cute the pictures are.

She definitely won the award for best babysitter ever.
