A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a bad drawing? It must be worth at least a million.

Delaware native Alexis Semmel wanted to print out a picture of her girlfriend, Liz Todd, for a locket but she found it was "really hard to print a picture that small." Luckily, inspiration struck, even if Semmel didn't have the artistic talent to back it up.

She got creative and drew a picture of Todd by hand and put it in place of a printed version.

The final product was uncanny.

People were absolutely stunned with how well the drawing turned out.

Others celebrated Semmel's romantic gesture by sharing pictures of the drawings they made for their significant others.

Warning: there are artistic masterpieces ahead.

Each and every one of them are works of art. Terrible, romantic works of art.
