Oh, nothing, just a Tesla Model 3 prototype driving down the street ...
Tesla lovers might have to wait until later this year for a shot at a ride in the electric carmaker's first crack at an "affordable" sedan, the Model 3, but the prep for its release is ramping up.
Tesla recently announced Model 3 production will start ahead of initial projections in July -- and a prototype of the car was just spotted out on the road IRL.
The video was posted by Unplugged Performance, a Tesla-centric mod shop that's conveniently located near the automaker's Design Studio in Hawthorne, California. Check it out below to see the shiny silver Model 3 zoom -- okay, coast -- along the SpaceX Hyperloop track, just to make the scene a little extra Musk-y.
The footage certainly isn't as thrilling as one of Tesla's record-breaking acceleration tests, but it's better than nothing.
