Here's our first look at new Prince Philip in 'The Crown'
The Crown will look vastly different when it returns for Season 3 with a new cast, but we're loving the anticipation. Tobias Menzies is the latest actor to join the known characters of The Crown as Prince Philip.
A first photo released by Netflix shows our middle-aged Philip looking pensively into the distance while contemplating his own lofty ideas with the caption "Ambition."
If you have a visceral reaction to seeing Menzies in power, that might be because you recognize him from playing Edmure Tully on Game of Thrones and orchestrating the Red Wedding. Yup, that dude is a Prince now.
