This is everyone's first 10 minutes playing 'The Division'

In The Division, you are an elite fighter, set on saving New York City from the ne'er–do–wells populating its disease-ridden streets. 

Unfortunately, most players can't get past enlistment.

Players are forced to wait in an actual in-game line to sign up for duty on a laptop. Due to a glitch, the laptop activation doesn't work for many players, forcing them to cluster around it with dozens of players on the server, all desperately trying to perform the most mundane task imaginable in a game about elite soldiers.

A word to those struggling with the line right now: just wait. It gets better.
