The Land is located somewhere in Cleveland between Dope and Lords of Dogtown.

Steven Caple Jr.'s feature film debut -- which was executive produced by Nas and stars Erykah Badu and rapper Machine gun Kelly -- follows a group of four skateboarding teens in Cleveland who suddenly find themselves with a lot of Molly on their hands.

Following its premiere at Sundance, The Land will hit theaters nationwide on Friday. But before it does, Mashable has two exclusive clips that preview the mayhem that unfolds for Cisco, Junior, Patty Cake, and Boobie.

In the first, above, there's a run-in with the a local drug dealer. In the second, we're introduced to Momma, a very unlikely Queen-pin she takes her job very, very seriously.

Speaking to Mashable, director Steven Caple Jr. said that he wanted to be honest about what it's really like growing up in the streets of Cleveland -- a city not often spotlighted in films. (Caple grew up in Cleveland.)

"I wanted people to see what I saw," he said. "I wanted it to be as authentic as possible, so we shot in tough neighborhoods. Really tough neighborhoods."

Stay tuned for more from our interview with Caple.
