'A Quiet Place' is even better when it's mashed up with 'The Office'

It's been over 400 days since Krasinski's last nonsense.

John Krasinski's new film, A Quiet Place, is freaking terrifying, but if you're not a fan of horror and still want to support the man you know as Jim Halpert we have found a solution.

Fans of The Office are meme-ing A Quiet Place by making new trailers spliced with clips from the NBC comedy and highlighting relevant episodes of the show that nicely sum up the horror film's plot.

It's a beautiful crossover that we all need to take the time to appreciate.

Remember in Season 8, Episode 11 of The Office when the gang is on the longest silent streak in office history? That's essentially A Quiet Place.

Jim holds up a sign explaining that nobody has said anything in 14 whole minutes, and we are happy to report that they would have survived in Krasinski's horror film for a while.

Though sadly, Kevin chomping down on a candy bar and saying, 'oh yeah!' would likely have been everyone's cause of death.

And here's Jim mastering the art of survival again, refusing to make a sound after Pam jinxed him in Season 2, Episode 20 of the show.

Here we see Jim carefully hiding from an monster ex-girlfriend. Good thing John Krasinski had all this practice being quiet!

To make this The Office/A Quiet Place mashup feel even more real, Instagram user @bradleycdunn went so far as to create a very believable trailer. Perhaps we can call it, A Quiet Workplace.

In this version of the movie it appears the real monster is MOSE, which is utterly terrifying.

While you contemplate whether or not these moments from The Office served as early inspiration for Krasinski's A Quiet Place vision, please enjoy these GIFs of him shh-ing us in both worlds.
