The Rock and 'SpongeBob' just had a glorious Twitter exchange

It's always nice to see our favourite celebrities getting on well on Twitter -- especially when they're people you wouldn't necessarily expect to be friends.

Enter Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and SpongeBob Squarepants, unlikely social media pals and (hopefully) future buddy comedy stars.

It started on Friday, when the official SpongeBob Twitter account tagged The Rock in the following tweet.

Let's all take a moment to appreciate two things: 1) the fact that Johnson is a SpongeBob fan, and 2) the fact one of his nicknames is "Beef Piston".
