These images of front-facing 'Simpsons' characters are guaranteed to give you nightmares

If you want to stare into the face of true evil, turns out all you need to do is look at a Simpsons character head on.

It's not a sight that's meant for fragile human eyes.

On Tuesday, this was proven beyond any reasonable doubt.

Pretty conclusive, right? Marge seems to be the only character that's immune.

Soon, the evidence was stacking up even more.

Turns out this isn't even the first time the subject has come up. Another tweet pointing out the phenomenon went viral back in 2017:

Stick to drawing those characters from the side on, illustrators. For everybody's sake.
