When you're a politician, you're always just one slightly awkward laugh away from becoming a meme.

On Wednesday, during Prime Minister's Questions, Theresa May demonstrated this phenomenon perfectly.

Here she is laughing at something Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said:

In Parliament, it was likely a passing moment that went largely unnoticed.

Twitter noticed, though.

It wasn't long before May's laughter had reached full-blown meme territory. There was a hashtag and everything.

Nothing, however, could compare to the following gif from Harry Davidson, which at the time of writing has been retweeted around 13,000 times.
