Threads apparently just passed another massive milestone for monthly users
People are still using Threads! And according to the man in charge, the numbers are actually getting bigger.
On Tuesday, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to Threads to share an update on the platform's monthly users.
"Threads on the up and up," he wrote. "Just passed 400M monthly actives on here."

Threads' monthly user figures have been steadily climbing since the app launched in summer 2023. Starting with around 100 million sign ups in its first week, Threads had reached 275 million monthly active users by November 2024.
X, by contrast, has been struggling since Elon Musk took over. The site has been losing users in the EU in recent months, and recent data suggests that Threads is nearing X in terms of daily active users.
