New York is home to some of the world's greatest culinary establishments -- now including its very own Tim Burton restaurant.

Sure, the food may not approach the level of Per Se, per se, but who cares. The bar-restaurant, called Beetle House, serves thematic food and drink in a delightfully gothic atmosphere. Because nothing says "family dinner" like the souls and snacks of the dead.

The restaurant recently opened up in Manhattan's East Village, and customers have already taken to the menu's cocktails and wordplay.

On the menu: a Jack Skellington, complete with Bacardi Rum, creme de coconut, and lime juice, topped with crushed ice and orange zest. There's also the Fleet Street Martini (from Sweeney Todd) and We Come in Peace (from Mars Attacks).

For those seeking to add 10,000 calories to their diet, there's the Veruca Salted Honey Wings (get it!?) and the Warm Wonka Bar chocolate cake. Try out the Edward Burger Hands, made of organic ground bison, bacon, pepper jack, quail egg, avocado, and sriracha on a honey garlic bun.

It's unclear whether the eponymous Edward Scissorhands ever ate quail eggs on organic bison, but we can still dream. A little creative manipulation does a world of public good.

Check out the delicacies for yourself.
