You know the old saying: the people want a president they can drink a beer with and they also want a vice president they can put in their folk americana cover band.

Well, the people are in luck, because Tim Kaine is ready to jump in for any harmonica solos you may need.

Kaine showed his harmonica chops at a bar in Asheville, North Carolina on Monday, joining in as lead harmonica during a rendition of "Wagon Wheel."

Like an embarrassing dad who loves karaoke and is also somehow decent at singing Bon Jovi songs, Kaine rocks his harmonica duties.

When the song was finished, the man who could soon be one person away from leading the United States told reporters, "Nothing makes me more nervous than doing that."

We wish Tim Kaine lots of luck as he continues to live out the plot of Kerouac's On the Road.
