Tinder now has animated reactions to make shutting down douchebags a little more fun

The dating app will now let you say "nope" in a much cuter way.

Your Tinder messages are about to get a lot more animated.

No, the dummies of Tinder aren’t simultaneously going to stop opening with “hey,” but you are getting a few more ways to express yourself. Today the app is launching Tinder Reactions, which are little animations that take the place of certain basic text replies.

Now you can reward good behavior with rounds of applause, hearts, or laughs. And you can discourage bad behavior with eye rolls and ughs. You can even throw martinis at people who really offend you.

There are plenty of other ways to properly express whatever you might be feeling in animated form. Though women, who clearly fare worst when it comes to being subjected to icky behavior on dating apps, will be given a lot more reactions to unleash then men, who'll just have the basic options.

To use them, you tap on the new little reactions icon and you can see your choices. They'll vary slightly in different markets and will change as Tinder tests new reactions in the coming months.

To introduce Reactions, Tinder has partnered with comedian Whitney Cummings. It’s all part of a larger campaign to improve the messaging experience -- which includes previously introduced features like the ability to unmatch by swiping, easier ways to report people, and new community guidelines.

If history has taught us anything, it's that throwing drinks (even IRL) at douchebags rarely dissuades them, but at least this will add a little fun to the process of shutting them down.
