If your music tastes tend toward the embarrassing, it might be time to clean up your Spotify account.

Starting Tuesday, Tinder users will be able to see their potential matches' most-played songs on Spotify. The songs will be displayed on the profiles of Tinder users who opt to link their Spotify accounts, right by those shared interests you forgot you liked on Facebook seven years ago.

Along with displaying your Spotify activity, Tinder will also offer the option to post your favorite song under a new "Anthems" section. The songs will play within the Tinder app when tapped.

You don't need to link your Tinder account to Spotify to post an Anthem, but tapping anything Spotify-related will redirect you to download the Spotify app if you're not a Spotify user.

The linked Spotify accounts on Tinder profiles look similar to the dating app's integration with Instagram.

The added features are part of a larger partnership between Tinder and Spotify. Tinder is sponsoring new playlists on Spotify themed around Tinder phrases: "pre-swipe," "discovery," "match," "love at first swipe" and "date night."

"With Spotify, we're fully integrating music into the swiping experience in a brand new way -- at a massive, global scale," Tinder CEO Sean Rad said in a statement. "With or without a Spotify account, you can choose to add an Anthem to your profile and start swiping to see who shares your favorite songs and artists. With the addition of music powered by Spotify, we're introducing an even more personalized experience on the platform."
