Tintin, the character created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, is being used to pay tribute to the victims of Tuesday morning's attacks in Brussels.
Images of the world-famous cartoon character in tears have been widely shared across Instagram and Twitter, often with the hashtag #JeSuisBruxelles, in the hours following the explosions.
