California-based startup Combatant Gentleman, home of the $160 wool suit, just introduced a premium leather shoe line, called Toecap, at a very reasonable price.
At $65, you can choose from leather monkstraps, oxfords, driving shoes and loafers. The price is unheard of. Even affordable retailers like Aldo selling men's oxfords for at least $125.
“This is only the beginning of our footwear expansion,” said CEO Vishaal Melwani. “I am personally excited to venture into this market and continue doing what we do best: giving millennial men the quality they’re looking for without the markups found at traditional and designer retailers.”
The brand certainly shines in the starter kit market, geared more toward recent grads looking for their first suits, or for those who want style without the sticker shock.
Either way, this handsome line of shoes is definitely a game-changer, proving you don't need to shell out major dough to get quality products.
