LONDON - When you hear some of your favourite songs, do you ever think about the production behind the vocals?

Right now the UK music scene is flying high globally, with the likes of Skepta, Stormzy, Rita Ora and more receiving international attention. It's important to recognise the producers who are creating organic sounds, though.

These British producers continue to create innovative beats and construct a new generation of sound. Here are 10 we think you should know about.

Tre Jean-Marie

The 23-year-old co-wrote Craig David's new track "One More Time" and has worked with X Factor winner Louisa Johnson, Jason Derulo, MNEK and Vanessa White from The Saturdays. Although Jean-Marie likes to stay in the background, his discography is already shining bright.

KZ The Producer

Hailing from North London, the 24-year-old naturally found his way with music. He's produced top tracks for UK artists such as Wretch 32 and has worked closely with R&B sensation Bobii Lewis.

Gorgon City

The North London duo are currently working on their second album. They've worked with Jennifer Hudson, Zak Abel and Clean Bandit. Their catchy beats and distinctive sound has seen the guys chart with "Ready For Your Love."

MNEK

Uzo Emenike, who is best known as MNEK, is a man of many talents. With recent credits on Beyonce's Lemonade, MNEK has done a lot for a 21-year-old. Other credits include Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Naughty Boy, and JoJo.

Show N Prove

A Scottish native signed to Universal Records, he's worked with Tinchy Styder, Big Narstie, Wretch 32, and Shakka. He also produced Benny Bank's track "Bada Bing" which featured on the official Fast & Furious 6 soundtrack.

Chris Loco

After working with the then-undiscovered Emeli Sandé in 2011, Loco gained a lot of industry interest and signed with OddChild Music. His productions credits include Rita Ora, Wiley, Joe Budden, Maverick Sabre, as well as fellow OddChild artist Etta Bond.

Nyge

The London producer is responsible for the Section Boyz hit "Lock Arff." The bass-filled beat has been been a club favourite since it was released last year, with international artists such as Drake and Chris Brown loving the track.

Heavy Trakerz

Consisting of Lord Teedot, G.Tank and RasEye, the Heavy Trakerz  have worked with Meridian Dan and JME on "German Whip" and Stormzy on "Standard." The guys are also in demand, with renowned UK artists such as Ms Dynamite, Kano and Craig David working with them.

Nana Rogues

In the last year Nana Rogues has become one of the hottest new producers in the UK. Rogues produced the Section Boyz track "Trapping Ain't Dead" and has production credits on seven of the 10 tracks on Tinie Tempah's mixtape Junk Food. Rogues got his first UK Top 10 for the track "Girls Like" - a Tinie Tempah single which features Swedish singer Zara Larsson.

Tobi Shy Boy

After seeing his brother succeed as a producer, Tobi followed in his footsteps. Now 23 with a brand new recording studio, Tobi has worked with Nick Brewer, and new Virgin EMI signee Sneakbo.
