There is no stopping it: Train have announced that they're releasing a cover of Led Zeppelin II in full.

Yes, the band that unleashed "Hey Soul Sister" upon the world will cover the entirety of the English rock band's 1969 album from "Whole Lotta Love" to "Bring It On Home," with all proceeds benefitting Family House, a charity for families of children with cancer.

But wait, you ask, wouldn't it be better if they asked us all for money not to release Train Does Led Zeppelin II, thereby holding the world in a collective ransom? Yes, yes it would. But then again, there are reportedly people out there -- a lot of them --- who actually liked Ryan Adams' cover of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood," so.

"Our favorite band is Led Zeppelin, and they made a huge impression on our lives musically," frontman Pat Monahan said in a statement. "So I thought, why don't we record one of their albums, just for the fun of it for our fans. The hard part was deciding which one ... I would love it if people get a dose of what's hiding underneath Train's songs, our influences, but we basically did this for the fun of it."

Sounds like a sound reason.

The album is available for pre-order now. The band will also be performing the album live in select cities across the country. Find more at their website
