Alex Trebek, Ken Jennings and more remember 'Jeopardy!' champion who passed away
After the last posthumous Jeopardy! appearance of Cindy Stowell, who died on Dec. 5th of colon cancer, host Alex Trebek recorded a short video to pay tribute to her time on the show.
Wednesday marked the last of Stowell's six-episode run on the game show, which she taped in the summer knowing she had only six months to live.
The show also shared a video of Cindy's time on the show, described in her own words. In the video she reveals that she is dying of cancer and wanted to donate her winnings to cancer research (specifically, to the Cancer Research Institute, which is also receiving donations in Cindy's name).
