Donald Trump's hair might just be the most tremendous hair of all time.

The President's golden mane, shrouded in mystery, has inspired a slew of style discussions, memes and even a Twitter account over the years. But at long last the secret behind Trump's hair has been revealed.

Thanks to Trump's longtime doctor, Harold Bornstein, we now know the trick behind the 70-year-old president's hair care regiment and some inside info on his germaphobe tendencies that are, um... interesting.

In a series of interviews, Dr. Bornstein revealed to the New York Times that Trump's hair is so healthy because he takes small doses of a prostate-related drug called finasteride, which stimulates his hair growth.

In addition to lowering levels of prostate-specific antigen, the drug, marketed as Propecia, is known to treat male pattern baldness. In fact, Trump's doctor of 36 years is such a fan of the drug, he uses it himself. "He has all his hair, I have all my hair," Bornstein told the Times.

While we're sure the drug plays some role in Trump's hair upkeep, there's no denying that voluminous golden swoop gene runs in the family.

In the past, Trump has gone to great lengths to prove to the world his hair is real, one time he even called a fan onstage at a rally to check out the roots. Now we know it definitely is real, even though he may have had a little help with the youthful length.

Dr. Bornstein also commented to the Times on Trump's recent acknowledgement that he's a germaphobe. Bornstein said he had never discussed the topic with Trump, but shared whenever the president visits the office, following an examination "he always stands there and changes the paper on the table himself."

Okay... Donald... you do you, man.
