Late Saturday afternoon, Donald Trump tweeted a cryptic statement that seemed to threaten war with North Korea.

"Presidents and their administrations have been talking to North Korea for 25 years, agreements made and massive amounts of money paid...... hasn't worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, makings fools of U.S. negotiators. Sorry, but only one thing will work!" Trump tweeted.

There's not much that's funny about this Trump tweet, especially in the context of another recent remark in which he suggested that we are currently living in "the calm before the storm."

What does "only one thing" mean? How long can Trump keep threatening global safety via Twitter? And -- let's be serious here -- how long can Twitter allow it?
