President Trump's connections to Russia were the theme of the activist light show, which included Russian words projected onto the building, a Russian flag, and Russian "soldiers" standing at attention out front.

The light display fell on National Dollar Day and video journalist Robin Bell took credit for the work. The projections urged, "Follow the money."

Bell is the same light artist responsible for the Jeff Sessions KKK image projected onto the FBI's D.C. headquarters and the Department of Justice back in May.
Light projections to troll Trump on his buildings aren't new, but this might be the first with a thumbs-up Putin.
