No U.S. presidential election would be complete without heated moments between reporters and protestors.

However in this case, an encounter left one Trump supporter so worked up he couldn't or wouldn't differentiate between New Zealand (a country) and "Zealand" -- a non-existent news outlet.

Kiwi journalist Patrick Gower of NewsHubNZ, was covering a Trump rally in Miami late last week when he was caught up in a confusing conversation with a supporter about being a "disgusting" part of the "Clinton media" and a "sell out."

Gower replied with bewilderment, telling the man he was from New Zealand but that only garnered a stilted response of "what Zealand?"

Speaking with BuzzFeed, Gower said that the man was too irate to speak to.

"He was literally frothing at the mouth, taken aback. One person was trying to say, y'know, 'New Zealand is a country,' but it didn't help."

He continued "Another guy popped up and was saying 'we are the media now.' He was saying 'you're on Facebook Live! We are our own media! We don't need you."
