People are declassifying their pets after Trump tweets photo of military dog

The dog's name is classified, but not this picture.

The president's tweet about declassifying a picture of the dog who assisted in a mission that ended with ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's death is a meme now.

2019 continues to be unreal.

The dog, whose name remains classified, chased al-Baghdadi down a dead-end tunnel after concerns that al-Baghdadi was wearing a suicide vest. He indeed was and detonated the vest in the tunnel, killing himself and three children in the blast.

The unnamed dog is believed to have been injured by an electrocution, CNN reports, but is recovering.

A defense official told CNN that because the dog was part of an Army Delta force operation — the secretive special forces group that takes on high-risk missions — "we can't tell you the name of the dog."

Trump tweeted a "declassified" photo of the "wonderful dog" for doing such a "GREAT JOB" on Monday. The photo, which shows a dog goofily gazing at the camera with its tongue out, has gone viral.

Author and retired Army general Mark Hertling noted the dog's name needs to stay classified because it can be used to identify which units were involved in the raid.

But that didn't stop Twitter users from joking about declassifying images of their pets as well.

What's next for the dog who inspired this meme? He's received an invitation to the White House to meet the president.
