"So terrible."

And the winner for whiniest tweets about the Oscars go to ... President Trump.

Over the years Trump, a reality TV star before he was a politician, has often weighed in on the film awards show. As in, up until about 2015, he wouldn't stop tweeting about them.

In 2014 when 12 Years a Slave won best picture and Ellen Degeneres was hosting, he was not having it with the Academy Awards. With no less than 35 tweets from the future president griping about the show, 2014 was a tough year to be a Trump follower.

And he kept bashing on Ellen.

Some tweets foreshadowed his political future.

In 2015, with Neil Patrick Harris as host, Trump just couldn't any longer.

So he nominated himself to host. In an Instagram video he said the awards were "absolutely terrible -- boring, ugly sets, everything." He then said he had the "perfect host for next year. Me."

His hosting dreams, sadly, never materialized. Unless he considers becoming president of the U.S. is the ultimate hosting gig. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

His last live-tweet session and hyper-critical post-mortem about ratings was in 2015. It was radio silence for last year's show with Chris Rock, which took place in the midst of his ultimately successful presidential campaign.

In 2013 he thought the "Oscar broadcast is really boring," but he mostly left host Seth MacFarlane alone because he thought highly of him from his Comedy Central roast episode.

While we wouldn't bet on Trump live-tweeting Sunday for this year's telecast, you never know how much of a La La Land fan he might be. If history is any guide, he'll be tweeting only if he's outraged, bored or in the mood to pick on someone. Watch out Jimmy Kimmel.
