The work week is gone and it's the weekend. So at least there's that.

I can't promise you'll have a good weekend. I can't promise the whole, you know, weight of existence in a flawed world won't dawdle about in the back of your mind like a floating specter of grief, waiting to haunt you fully. I can't promise you won't stub your toe on the coffee table.
