The Trump administration's decision to reverse the ban on elephant trophies sparked so much outrage and disappointment on social media that the president later backtracked on Twitter.

The initial decision gave hunters the right to bring trophies of elephants they killed in Zimbabwe and Zambia back to the U.S. The ban was implemented by Obama administration in 2014.
