NBA player learns the hard way that maybe Instagram isn't the best place to find tacos
What we have here, folks, is a play in two acts about the consequences of taking advice from strangers and the questionable decisions we all sometimes make.
Our tortured protagonist: NBA point guard Ty Lawson, who plays for the Sacramento Kings.
ACT I
On Tuesday night, Lawson asked his Instagram followers to recommend a "bomb taco Tuesday spot in Sacramento."
Seems simple enough. But ...
*cue ominous music*
ACT II
The Kings had a game Wednesday night at home against the Brooklyn Nets. But according to a tweet shared by sideline reporter Kayte Christensen, Lawson was listed as questionable for that game as of several hours before tip-off.
The cause: gastroenteritis, a malady defined by vomiting and diarrhea. Coincidence? The internet thinks not.
