Pop-up 'CoD' tournament to be held in honor of Phil "Phizzurp" Kleminov
LOS ANGELES -- Esports tournament host UMG will hold a $10,000 Call of Duty competition this weekend in honor of the late Phillip "PHiZZURP" Kleminov, who was tragically killed in a car accident last week.
It was only natural UMG selected CoD as it's honorary tournament's game of choice: Kleminov played professional Call of Duty for several years but gained recognition in 2016 when he competed in the Call of Duty World League with H2K gaming.
The competition, branded "#Phizzurp10K," will start this Sunday, October 9 at 2 p.m. ET. Players can register here beginning October 8 after 2 p.m.'
