'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' is still strong as hell with Season 4 renewal
In a move that's as obvious as Titus' love of boobs in California and pooping in someone else's bathroom, Netflix has renewed Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for Season 4. High five!
The compulsively quotable comedy dropped its third season on May 19, with a premiere date for Season 4 yet to be announced. (Previous seasons have debuted in March, April and May, so another spring launch seems likely.)
Season 3 saw Kemper's titular heroine enroll at Columbia University to pursue her dream of becoming a crossing guard, but her kidnapping and years of imprisonment at the hands of Reverend Wayne (Jon Hamm) continued to hinder her attempts to move on.
Season 3 featured a host of guest stars including co-creator Tina Fey, Ray Liotta, Daveed Diggs, Laura Dern, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph, a 🔥 Lemonade tribute, and Orange is the New Black's own Litchfield Penitentiary, perhaps paving the way for a full Netflix Cinematic Universe crossover somewhere down the line.
