There is a unique joy that comes with being deliberately and unapologetically annoying. It it a feeling that cannot be replicated — a conspiratorial giggle in your soul, both diabolical and innocent, conniving yet straightforward, obnoxious yet affectionate. Glee in its purest form.

Developer House House harnessed this delicious delight earlier this year in its viral hit Untitled Goose Game. Released on Sept. 20 for PC and Switch, the indie game places players in the webbed feet of a horrible goose who wants nothing more than to ruin people's mornings. And oh, how it ruins them.

Now, other console gamers will soon know the pleasure of causing problems on purpose. Australian developer House House announced on Tuesday that their antagonistic waterfowl will arrive on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Dec. 17, just in time for Christmas.

Equipped with a grabbing beak, toddling feet, and a very loud honk, Untitled Goose Game's titular bird wrecks havoc in a previously quiet village, committing all manner of crimes and inconveniences. These range from theft and property destruction to scaring small children and making them fall into puddles. The intrepid misanthrope gets away with it too, because you can't arrest a goose.

Untitled Goose Game first became a sensation when its 2017 trailer caught the imagination of aspiring nuisances everywhere. Upon its release, it quickly honked its way into hearts across the world. Over 100,000 copies of Untitled Goose Game were sold in its first few weeks — an amazing result for the tiny, four-person Melbourne studio's second game.

It's no surprise people are so enamoured by it, though. Untitled Goose Game is a charmingly playful stealth puzzler, full of items to steal, people to harass, and mornings to ruin. Plus, it has a dedicated honk button. What more could you want?
