He came, he ran, he conquered once again.

Usain Bolt triumphed in the men's 4 x 100-meter relay Friday, helping his Jamaican team mates cross the line in first position.

The win marks the "triple triple" for Bolt, meaning he's won gold at the men's 100-meter, 200-meter and 4 x 100-meter relay three times in a row. Beijing, London and now Rio, marking a glittering end to his Olympic career.

Bolt spoke to reporters after his 200-meter win about the prospect of being put on the same sporting pedestal as soccer's Pelé, swimming's Michael Phelps or boxing's Muhammed Ali.

“I’m waiting until after the Olympics to see if (people) will put me in that bracket, if the fans will put me in that bracket,” he said. “I am ready and I am waiting to see what (the media) write tomorrow and after that.”

“I have proven to the world that I am the greatest,” he added.

“That is why I came here. That’s why it is my last Olympics. I can’t do anymore. I make people want to come and watch the sport and be involved in it."
