Pubic hair is making a beautifully punk comeback, and it's long overdue.

The last time the fashion world did anything of significance with women's pubic hair was in 2015 with vajazzling. Thankfully, fashion designer KAIMIN broke the dry spell at the latest New York Fashion Week with a runway show featuring a diverse array of ... vagina wigs.

KAIMIN says she grounded his show in diversity and tolerance. That principle extends to one of the most stigmatized parts of the female body, and the artificial hair that is sometimes used to cover them: merkins.

"This acceptance of individuality is the human vagina — which is alluded to in the live video at the show and is emphasized by the mohawk on the runway," KAIMIN said in a press release.

Obviously, there was more to the show than stylized merkin art. It's just hard to focus your childlike attention on anything else.

However you feel about KAIMIN's collection, you've got to hand it to her for helping to #ReclaimThePube.

Hairstylists from Prema, including Dale Delaporte with additional styling by Charlie Le Mindu, helped make these magical merkin creations possible.

Twitter, I'm going to ask you very nicely to not be awful about this. Vaginas go through enough already. Let them live a little, even if it's just on stage.
