Dating apps have made it possible for singles to meet hundreds if not thousands of people with a few swipes. One issue with that, however, is that it's difficult to scope out a great match in that wide a pool. Niche dating apps crop up for this specific reason, with one is campaigning for users to "fuck vegans," literally: Grazer.

Grazer is a UK-based dating and friend-finding app for vegans and vegetarians. Founder Lewis Foster began creating the app in 2016, according to an interview with Metro, and it rebranded last November for World Vegan Day. Now, Grazer touts itself as the "meatless matchmaker."

Grazer isn't the first plant-based dating app; there's also Veggly, VegPal, and TofuTogether, to name a few. But Grazer is making waves this Veganuary with their "fuck vegans" campaign, featuring RuPaul's Drag Race UK contestant Bimini:

It's not surprising that vegans and vegetarians want a dating app for themselves. Any dater wants a partner with shared values — and green dating, or wanting to find a mate as eco-conscious as you, has bloomed in recent years. Whether Grazer ends up trumping the other eco-based apps out there, however, is yet to be seen.
