If lingerie models can pose for pictures, so can nursing mothers.

That's what one North Caroline woman had to say in response to her breastfeeding haters.

On February 17, Maria Corry uploaded a nursing photo to Facebook in an effort to promote and "normalize" the act.

The new mom became outraged to learn more than five of her "friends" had reported the image as inappropriate.

Since the photo does not violate Facebook's nudity policy  which restricts "some images of female breasts if they include the nipple," but notes "we always allow photos of women actively engaged in breastfeeding or showing breasts with post-mastectomy scarring," the image remains.

Still, one day later Corry responded.

She posting a nursing photo that shows her baby covered by an image of a Victoria's Secret model in revealing lingerie.

In the caption she explained, "I bet this won't be reported, because you can see this picture in every mall you step into, huge and blown up outside the store. This is not frowned upon, or ever reported, as it is seen everywhere. But a women nurturing and feeding their baby is looked down on. That is completely absurd!"

While she might not have used the #Brelfie hashtag, this North Carolina mom joined the ranks of women fighting stigmas against feeding their children naturally.

Corry tagged Ellen Degeneres in the post giving her permission to share the story with her viewers.  We'll be watching to see if the TV personality takes her up on the offer.
