Video captures terrifying moment of NYC explosion

A closed-circuit camera captured Saturday night's explosion in New York City that injured 29 people.

The footage was captured by a camera at Orangetheory Fitness, at 124 W. 23rd St. in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, just a few doors down from where the explosive device detonated at 131 W. 23rd St.

The video shows multiple views of the explosion taking place and the chaos that ensues, including people running away and even a glass door shattering as a result of the explosion.

In a Facebook post, the gym confirmed no staff or members were hurt by the explosion, and said the location will be closed for a time as the investigation continues and necessary repairs are made.

According to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, all 29 people injured in the blast have been released from local hospitals.
