When asked where Bourilhon gets inspiration from, he said, "I am inspired by many things -- whether movies, graphic design art, photographs, works of contemporary art, or quotes."

The 23-year-old finds that inspiration surrounds him in his everyday life in the form of art, Internet, books and friends. "Specifically, I am very inspired by the object, its physical form and its meaning," he said.

"In each of my photographs, the object becomes an important issue," Bourilhon explained. He likes to seamlessly divert his subjects in his photographs, such as transforming a cloud into a flame of a match, or a having a bulb turn into a bubble.

Bourilhon says his images allow him to cross the barrier between the real world and the imaginary world. "What's exciting is that we now have tools that allow us to go beyond our creativity, and be able to create things other than what we can see in our everyday life."

Bourilhon has been interested in photography since he was 16 and still considers himself a child. He explained that he calls upon his "child-like imagination to create these dream worlds complete with poetry and fears."

He usually gets his inspiration when he's alone, so he grabs his tripod, sets his camera on a timer and takes his own photographs of himself.

"Each of my photographs are combinations of several images, usually three to four," he said.

Once Bourilhon gets his perfect shots, he spends the necessary time editing and creating his visual stories on Photoshop.

When asked which of his creations are his favorite, Bourilhon admitted that he absolutely loves, "The Way To Paris,""Blow Your Idea," "To Build Home" -- which was inspired by a drawing of Tran Nguyen -- and " The Moon Repairer," all of which were created in 2015.

These four stunning images are featured below, and are a wonderful representation of Bourilhon's work.

Bourilhon had his first national advertising campaign in 2015, which he hopes will propel him towards a future career in advertising where he can use his poetic vision to help customers.

As for his photography-related goals, Bourilhon said he would like to find a gallery and expand his clientele worldwide. Above all, he would like to travel to "visit the countries where nature is queen" and illustrate his ideas to the four corners of the world.
