It's 2016, and virtual reality zombies can make us lose control of our bodies out of fear now.

A video captured by Twitter user @madeleinedoux features her coworker Carrie Glaser very much not having a fun time in a virtual reality horror game.

According to @madeleindoux, the game in question is The Brookhaven Experiment -- a first-person shooter horror game on the HTC Vive pitting players against a horde of zombies with limited ammunition.

Apparently, it's a game for fans of the horror genre and anyone looking to be traumatized.

Glaser isn't alone in her reaction, last month a video featuring a VR gamer having a similarly horrific experience with The Brookhaven Experiment broke two million views on Youtube.

More than merely a reminder of how we'd all really act in a zombie apocalypse, the video proves the legitimacy of virtual reality gaming experiences.

If you need us we'll be over here, never playing this game.
