AMC to air two-hour 'Walking Dead' primer

If you've never watched The Walking Dead but hear so much about Negan and cliffhangers from friends and want to join in the brunch conversation, you're in luck: AMC will air a two-hour retrospective of the first six seasons on Sunday, Oct. 16.

“The Walking Dead: Journey So Far gives viewers who have never seen an episode of The Walking Dead a chance to get all caught up on the plot, characters, locations, and unique terminology of the series," AMC wrote in a press release. "...as well as providing fans who‘ve never missed a moment with fresh interviews with the series’ producers and their favorite actors as part of an exciting refresher course that will further whet their appetite for the new season.”

Season 7 of The Walking Dead will premiere the following weekend, on Oct. 23.
