President Donald Trump is going to hell...per the Washington Examiner.

On Monday morning, the conservative media site tweeted a bold and out-of-character message to its 140,000 followers about Trump, and where the Bible "stands on rich adulterers."

"The key to God's forgiveness is repentance," the now-deleted tweet read. "Trump's entire political career has been about the exact opposite of that. Also this paper is garbage for promoting 'Trump and God.'" The tweet was published at 5:13 a.m., per The Hill.

Though the tweet raised suspicions among followers, the account continued to tweet regularly scheduled articles after the fact.

Many were quick to make jokes, speculating that it must be the first or last day of the person responsible for the tweet. And a good number of people chimed in with their own thoughts on the tweet.

The anti-Trump tweet was reportedly taken down at about 7 a.m., but as all internet users know, screenshots are forever.

According to a pinned tweet from the Washington Examiner, the outlet's Twitter account was hacked and the tweet posted "did not come from staff."

"We are taking appropriate action and will issue a further statement if necessary," the Examiner said.
