Move over, Starbucks, Colorado is getting its first drive-thru weed store.

A former car wash turned pot shop in Parachute, Colorado, just won approval from the Parachute Board of Trustees to become Colorado's first drive-thru marijuana store, the Post Independent reports. The store, dubbed the Tumbleweed Express, is slated to open in March.

“As far as I can tell, we are not aware of this business model ever coming up before,” Robert Goulding, spokesman for the state Marijuana Enforcement Division told the Denver Post.

While a drive-thru pot shop sounds convenient, there are some strict rules in place. In accordance with the Marijuana Enforcement Division, no one under the age of 21 is allowed on the premises, even in the back of the car. Sorry parents, you'll have to leave the kids at home if you need to run your adult errands.

Although this is this is the first drive-thru pot shop in the state, it's not the first one to be approved in America. Regardless, the growing number and normalization of public weed shops shows a growing trend of acceptance towards cannabis in America. While some towns prefer to kick their pot shops to the outskirts of town, others are making it even more convenient to purchase weed.

But while many more people are accepting of cannabis, it's likely the dollar signs that are pushing the changes. Previously, the town of Parachute had a ban on cannabis shops, but lifted it in order to boost the town's economy. Parachute Town Manager Stuart McArthur told the Independent that marijuana sales accounted for nearly 30 percent of the sales tax receipts in 2016.
