Stranger Things is known for its commitment to incorporating '80s pop culture into the show, and the latest season brings in a beloved musical icon.

The series gave a shoutout to Weird Al Yankovic in two subtle Season 3 shoutouts. In the second episode of the season, science teacher and A.V. club supervisor Mr. Clarke jams out to the parody king's "My Balogna," a cheeky jab at The Knack's "My Sharona."

In the next episode, Dustin dons a vintage Weird Al shirt — he's clearly a fan.

The announcement sparked a few jokes about naming the show Weirder Things.

Some were just happy that Weird Al was back in the spotlight.

Mr. Clarke's nerdiness really shined in this episode.

The BTS army may be strong, but Weird Al has a legion of weird nerds rooting for him.
