HBO's Westworld revolves around a robot's quest for consciousness, which is something most humans don't really have to worry about, but thanks to a collaboration between HBO and the Amazon Alexa, human people can experience a Westworld AI's awakening in Westworld: The Maze.

Westworld: The Maze is a voice game in which players take on the role of a park host who, like Maeve, Akecheta, and Dolores, needs to power through their programming to arrive at the center of the titular Maze and achieve consciousness. Actors Jeffrey Wright and Angela Sarafyan appear in their roles as Bernard Lowe and Clementine to augment the plot, which has 60 storylines and hundreds of choices, some of which end in death (this is Westworld after all) and others in enlightenment.

Some of the storylines in the game should be familiar to Westworld fans, including a squad of gun-toting ne'er-do-wells attacking Sweetwater and an encounter with Confederados.

In true Westworld fashion, the journey to the center of the Maze will be difficult, with HBO promising that clues to the endgame are scattered around the plot for "superfans" to discover.

Check out the trailer below.

The violent delights and violent ends of Westworld: The Maze are on Amazon Alexa now.
