Absolutely brutal.

We know Westworld is full of gratuitous violence, but this is just brutal...

Westworld co-creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy recently hosted a Reddit AMA about the upcoming second series. In this Reddit thread, Nolan and Joy made a startling announcement. For a thousand upvotes, they would divulge all the Season 2 spoilers in a single video.

And so the post achieved its goal, thus Nolan and Joy shared the video.

The video starts by apparently describing the beginning of Season 2, following Bernard waking up on a beach. Then, at about 1:30, things change dramatically.

That's right. Westworld just majorly Rickrolled its fans. That only takes you up to the three-minute-mark in the video however, which is 25 minutes long. The rest is black and white footage of a dog sitting next to a piano while the theme music plays.

Finally, the words "For Bento 2009-2018" appear on the screen. It's unsure at this stage who Bento is, but it seems a reasonable guess that Bento is the dog.

Westworld co-creators: finding a way to emotionally sucker-punch you into oblivion since 2016.
