NBA player Kawhi Leonard's 'What it do baby?' is the meme for sliding into your ex's DMs

Whatitdobaybeeeee.

Sliding into the DM's with a GIF is so 2017. The next time you try to shoot your shot, send a "whatitdobaybeee" instead.

A clip of NBA star Kahwi Leonard has become the meme for hitting up an ex, developing a new crush, and dealing with mental health issues sneaking up in the middle of the night.

"What it do, babyyyy?" the Toronto Raptor player drawls in the meme while glancing down at his phone.

The snippet comes from a longer Snapchat video posted by teammate Serge Ibaka.

Within days, Twitter users began using the shortened version to describe surprise visitors and snarky interactions.

Others applied it to messy dating habits.

Mental health crisis? Unpack your trauma with memes. (And also therapy.)

And of course, people also used Leonard to talk about literal babies.

You'll probably have Leonard's iconic "What it do, baby?" stuck in your head for the rest of the summer.
