According to the rumor mill, the Redmond-based tech giant is unleashing refreshes for two PCs within its Surface line. Plus, we're anticipating some new AI developments for Copilot and Windows 11.

What to expect from the Microsoft Surface March 2024 event

According to Windows Central, Microsoft is dropping two new products: Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 10 will reportedly have the following new features:

  • New chip that rivals the Apple iPad Pro

  • New OLED display with a brighter panel and HDR support

  • New ultra-wide front-facing webcam with AI studio effects

  • New built-in NFC reader

The Surface Laptop 6, however, will have more significant design changes, according to Windows Central:

  • New processor that competes with the MacBook Pro

  • Thinner bezels

  • New haptic touchpad

  • Dedicated Copilot key

  • Upgraded port selection

Both the Surface Pro 10 and the Surface Laptop 6 will launch with two configurations: Intel and ARM chips. The Intel-based variants will reportedly launch first before the ARM-based models, which are purportedly hitting store shelves in June.

There are also whispers that Microsoft may release a consumer version of the Microsoft Surface Go 4 (the Surface Go 4 only targets the business and education realm for now). And finally, there's a good chance that Microsoft will unleash some new details regarding Copilot and Windows 11.

The Microsoft Surface March event will launch on March 21 at 9 a.m. PT.
